Welcome New Huskies!
We're excited to meet you all and invite you into our community for neurotechnology! See you all in September for our first info session during Dawg Daze!
About The Event
Tue, September 24th
11:00am-12:30pm
Smith Hall (SMI) 107
If you’re interested in the brain, technology, the impact of science, and anything in between, come to CoNECT’s info + game session! The field of neuroscience is very interdisciplinary, and this event is a great way to learn more about how it interfaces with computer science, engineering, and ethics. We will present an overview of research opportunities at the UW and then play a short game to help you get to know the field of neurotechnology. This event is open to all who are interested regardless of field and is a great way to get exposed to research opportunities + community outreach in the brain and computer sciences on campus.
Stick around for “office hours” at the end to get advice on the neuroscience major, neural computation and engineering minor, and navigating research at the UW.
